SHES LEAVING ON THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE

My theory:

Think about it. Has Doctor Who ever had an episode where a companion has left because they’re SCARED of the Doctor? I haven’t watched enough Classic Who to answer my own question but they certainly have not in 2005+ Who. Moffat hinted at the…

You really need to read/watch/listen what Peter and Jenna said about the relationship between Clara and Doctor, srsly

Is there something I’m missing? Please correct me if I’m wrong

They just repeat over and over that the characters are bounded with each other, that their relationship is very deep and etc
That just crushes your theory from the very beginning)

In an interview August 14th:

" The actress also hinted at how Clara reacts to Peter Capaldi’s new Doctor: “For Clara it unbalances her and throws everything up in the air. She has gone from feeling safe – in moments of danger the Doctor would catch her – and thinking she had it all sussed, then suddenly this new guy has come along who she can’t quite access in the same way.”

[Jenna] explained: “He’s removed, he’s not as patient, and he’s much more alien and enigmatic. It’s really hard for her. Her best friend is a changed person, and it is a very difficult for her to accept that and move forward.” ” (cultbox.co.uk)

In conclusion, my theory remains unchanged.

[On auditioning during pilot season in Los Angeles] It was great because I never had a gap year or anything like that. You’d get a pilot that was set in a 1930s jazz bar and you’d go off and just look into that for a day, even if it wasn’t a part you’d get in a million years; I enjoyed the process and just reading different scripts. I came back to England a lot more fearless. [x]

JENNA LOUISE COLEMAN QUIT DOCTOR WHO

SHES LEAVING ON THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE

My theory:

Think about it. Has Doctor Who ever had an episode where a companion has left because they’re SCARED of the Doctor? I haven’t watched enough Classic Who to answer my own question but they certainly have not in 2005+ Who. Moffat hinted at the Doctor and Clara’s relationship “dramatically changing”, and seeing how Capaldi is showing a much more unfriendlier and haunting side to the Doctor, maybe she’ll be uncomfortable enough to leave because she’s scared of him. She would be the first to leave since, just MAYBE, the whole situation with the Time Lord himself makes her repel away from him.

What do you think?
